The above specimen shown from two different angles is a rare example of  gold in tremolite chlorite schist. 
This exciting new rich deposit of shallow gold was found by Ramelius Mining in 2006 at Wattle Dam south of Coolgardie in West Australia. A thick band of gold can be seen through this specimen (protruding top right of photos) as well as fine gold dispersed between the chlorite crystals. The crystalline gold is best seen under a microscope. The chlorite schist is quite soft and large nuggets (up to a kilo in size) which came loose from the ore were found on the conveyor belt of the processing plant and these are also for sale at gold nugget price plus 20% (please email me for more details if interested).
